History
The story of Adrian's Trattoria is over a century in the making. It began when Adrian's grandfather, Camarinos, opened his first restaurant in Braila, Romania. His son, Hristos, worked with his 8 siblings in the restaurant, carrying on the tradition. As Hristos' oldest son, it was only natural that Adrian would work in the restaurant business. He proudly did so after honing his skills in the trattorias of Rome, Italy. Adrian eventually brought his culinary expertise across the ocean to South Philly. From there, he moved to California and began working in restaurants and saving money with the dream of someday owning his own restaurant. The dream came true in 1988 when Adrian opened Adrian's Pizzeria in Van Nuys. The business outgrew its space and Adrian opened his present location in Reseda in 1993. His wife, Lucia, brings her mother's family recipes to the trattoria. Her experience working in the restaurants of Austria, Germany, & France completes the European style of cooking.
