Seneca Center for Children and Families has been operational for more than 20 years. One of the leading child care organizations in the United States, Seneca center has branch offices in San Francisco, San Pablo Bay, Fairfield, Richmond, Concord, Oakland, San Leonardo and Fremont, Calif. Seneca offers various services, such as group and emergency shelter care, adoption and foster solutions, crisis intervention, search and reunion services, and family, group and individual counseling and therapy services. Accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services, the center also provides education and support services for teen and first-time mothers, single and struggling parents, intergenerational and extended families, runaway and throwaway teens, at-risk children and youth, and developmentally, emotionally and medically challenged children. Additionally, it supports industrial schools, juvenile court systems, child labor laws and the California Department of Welfare.
