Blind & Vision Impaired of Marin Inc, US

Established in 1990, Performing Stars of Marin is a nonprofit organization that serves children from impoverished communities. Based in Sausalito, Calif., it provides professional training in dance, music, social skills and various academic and cultural opportunities to unprivileged children. The organization conducts various programs during summer camp and holds music/theater recitals, performed by the children. It organizes community events, such as charity and fund-raising drives, carnivals, benefit raffles and parades, to name a few. The organization also conducts the Phoenix Project of Marin, a program, which offers community outreach, counseling, classes, workshops and self-esteem/support services.
