The Audio-Digest Foundation is a nonprofit affiliate of the California Medical Association. Founded in 1953, the foundation employs 70 staff members and is headquartered in Glendale, Calif. It produces continuing medical education audio programs for physicians and allied health professionals. The foundation s programs are available in more than 10 specialty series, such as anesthesiology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, obstetrics, ophthalmology, orthopedics and urology. Its ophthalmology-related products provide information on the diagnosis and management of intraocular lenses, corneal diseases, ocular oncology and refractive surgeries. The Audio-Digest Foundation is also approved by the American Psychological Association. Additionally, it compiles education activities from multiple disciplines on palliative care, geriatrics, sports medicine and trauma management.
