History
Graduating from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1989, Kent McLemore practiced criminal defense in the California Bay Area for several years before returning to Fayetteville. In 1997, he co-founded the firm Buckley, McLemore & Hudson, which for 20 years provided high-quality representation to residents of Northwest Arkansas. McLemore is a former adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law where he taught Trial Advocacy and supervised law students at the U of A Legal Clinic. He has presented to professional colleagues on a variety of topics, including trial preparation, jury selection and cross-examination and continues to provide leadership in his field.

His extensive experience with murder trials has led him to become one of the few attorneys certified by the State to defend those facing the death penalty.
