I grew up in Mena, AR, a very small community. Our family doctor cared for my whole family. My mom had some complex medical problems that our doctor managed, so I grew up seeing that. I excelled at science and math in school, so it was natural for me to go into a field that let me care for people like our doctor cared for my mother and that let me use my math and science skills. Family medicine is special because you care for patients at every stage of life and build deep connections with them. You get to address lots of health problems and do procedures. I?m excited to provide that kind of care in a community like the one where I grew up. I love building relationships and coordinating specialist care. I see them when they?re healthy and sick. Building that rapport is my favorite part. I know it?s difficult to pick a doctor. You feel vulnerable. My clinic is a safe space with absolutely no judgment. My goal is to keep my patients healthy for as long as possible.
