For more than 100 years, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has been overseeing the protection, conservation and preservation of various species of fish and wildlife in Arkansas. Based in Hot Springs, Ark., the commission is responsible for habitat management as well as fish stocking, hunting and fishing regulation. It also works to generate awareness of ethical and sound management principles which includes educational and environmental awareness programs. The agency maintains several facilities, such as hatcheries, firing ranges and enforcement training centers.
