HistoryOur nonprofit was founded by an 11-year-old girl, Ruby Kate Chitsey, who decided to help ONE nursing home senior. She learned that most nursing home seniors in America receive a very low monthly stipend that must cover everything from haircuts and pet food to new clothing. She saw that the nursing home residents were lonely and going without the little things that make life sweet. She started a Go Fund Me and used those funds to change the lives of nursing home seniors from coast to coast. Fast forward to 2022, Ruby and her crew have fulfilled over 25,000 wishes and have taught kids across the globe how they can make a difference in the lives of nursing home seniors in their communities. Our youth fulfill small wishes to seniors living in long-term care centers across America. Our community center serves as office space for our national headquarters and offers a huge meeting space to connect the ages through meaningful, free and impactful small service projects.
