The Arkansas Midland Railroad operates four separate former Union Pacific Railroad branch lines in the state of Arkansas. Formed in 1992, it handles more than 35,000 railcars annually and covers more than 100 route miles of track and handles single cars and unit trains. The railroad serves industries in North Little Rock, Hot Springs, Jones Mill, Malvern, Mountain Pine, Helena, West Helena, Warren and Monticello. It serves more than 50 customers in a wide variety of industries, including lumber, aluminum, chemicals, stone and extruded plastic. The Arkansas Midland Railroad is headquartered in Malvern, Ark.
