History
While honing her skills in costume design for numerous theatrical productions and touring rock bands, Lynne Gallagher dreamed of creating a children's clothing business that would be anything but ordinary. Her move to San Francisco in 1991 enabled her to pursue this dream which became Wee Scotty. Her flair for the dramatic translated into bold fabrics, colors and textures that eventually would become the Wee Scotty trademark. Lynne's passion for design and sewing lead to the embarking of knowledge to youths of San Francisco and Mill Valley. Wee Scotty opened its doors in 1995 in the founding location of Banana Republic in Mill Valley Ca. We have moved throughout the years due to rent increases and have taught classes in Mill Valley (2 years), Pacific Heights (13 years), The Richmond Districts (5 years), servicing the Sunset District. During shut downs and COVID-19, we decided to move to Flagstaff,Az to be closer to family and reopen to service our new community.
