History
What is the story behind the logo? The TSBDF logo was conceptualized by Fine Artist Ronald White and designed by one of the best Graphic Artist DJ Skip Lopes from the Charlotte Bachata Salsa Festival What does the TSBDF logo mean? The Tucson Salsa Bachata Dance Festival logo features a sun where the rays have a very specific geometric arrangement. Influenced by Native American heritage the strong bold triangle pairs point in four directions indicating the four directions on the compass, the four times of day, the four stages of life, and the four seasons. The Center circle binds the four paired triangles together while it also embraces the saguaro and an avant gard design of a dancing couple. Like the music and dance of Salsa this logo holds the heart of the southwest while it carries forward an international message that crosses borders, crosses cultures and even crosses time
