History
Tucson Roller Derby is Tucson's original skater-owned, all-girl, flat-track roller derby league founded in 2003. We are the third oldest flat-track roller derby league in the nation since the roller derby revival of the 2000s. We are a member of WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association) and a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. By the skaters. For the skaters. Always.
Specialties
Tucson Roller Derby is a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) and competes nationally. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit supporting a variety of local charities, proudly skating for our eleventh season. Our matches, known as bouts, feature our three home teams and two travel teams squaring off with each other, competitors from around the state, and travel teams from around the country. All of them feature hard hits and feats of skill on eight wheels. There's something for everyone to enjoy, whether you're a tried-and-true fan or brand new to the sport and have always wanted to check it out! We welcome all ages, with special discounts for ages 10-17 and kids under 10 free with a paying adult. Events are held at the Tucson Indoor Sports Center, which features a grill and full bar. We also host the classic Dust Devil Roller Derby Tournament each April. Come out and support the real women of Tucson Roller Derby!
