History
A Quonset hut that came from Ft Huachuca military base in the 1940s houses a tropical lanai thatch-roof bar suspended from a 25-ft outrigger beam inside. Opened 7 days a week in 2005, a newly renovated Hut was insulated, making it an acoustically excellent room for live entertainment. Quickly discovered by Tucson's downtown and college music scene, the Hut has joined a handful of Tucson clubs that cater to a diverse music scene, with music ranging from roots and rock 'n roll, reggae, blues, alt-country, to boogie, funk and world beat. The nightly mixing of regulars and band fans makes for a unique and unpredictable party scene every night!
