History
Dr. Stumpf was born in Pennsylvania and raised there until the age of 14 when he and his family relocated to Tucson, AZ. He graduated from Sabino High School and then went on to study Premed, molecular and cellular biology at the University of Arizona. While at the U of A, he was admitted to Alpha Epsilon Delta which is a National Health Pre-professional Honor Society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in pre-professional health scholarship. He also participated in Science Connection which is a program that utilizes the energy, enthusiasm and resources of university students to reach out and foster interest in science in children. Concurrently, he performed laboratory research in the field of molecular genetics and also worked as an emergency technician in the emergency department at Tucson Medical Center.
