Sugars was started in Dallas Ft. Worth by Mary and Patrick Collins. With locations in Bedford and Graford, Tx. at the fabulous Possum kingdom lake. After 7 wonderful years in Texas, Mary, the owner of Sugars, handed the keys over to a fellow groomer as a gift and headed west. Mary was scouted to work in Brentwood/Beverly hills in 2014 where she accepted the job as head groomer and consultant to 14 year established grooming salon. After weighing cost of living vs peace of mind Mary decided to open Sugars Ft. Mohave in Nov of 2015 to focus not on high volume, but personal care. After listening to clients needs she decide to go private. It's been the best thing for Sugars.
Specialties
Superior full service grooming salon in the tri-state. Breed standard, Show and Pet cuts. We offer color, creative cuts, Asian Fusion and portraits as well. Our groomer has 10 years of experience as owner operator of Sugars DFW/ PK Texas, with further education in West Los Angeles/Beverly Hills. Our Doodles and Standard poodles are top notch. Hand scissoring is our specialty. Exotic breeds welcome and wanted. We specialize in terriers large and small. Yorkie to Kerry Blue. Rare breeds welcome! Quality service is what we deliver. Absolutely NO cage drying. Our shop is clean, open and your dog is free to relax. Owners can also stay if safety permits. Cat owners are encouraged to stay as we only take 30 mins. We have a comfortable sitting area and TV for Laughlin and Needles visitors. Most appointments are one hour for small breed haircuts and bath services. Our prices are competitive nationally. NOT locally. We are not a bargain chop shop. We are trained professionals who welcome clients that demand a higher level of service and care for their pet, without the Beverly Hills price tag. Cats also welcome. We aren't the cheapest in town, but our service wears the crown. We also do custom pet portraits and sculptures in house!
