History
In 1964, Willard Simpson established a full-service station at the junction of US 89 and AZ 64. In the mid-70's the business was taken over by his son, Robert and his wife, Mary. They established the Mini Mart, a small but comprehensive grocery serving the Navajo community of Cameron. In 1995, the building was replaced with a large modern supermarket and Simpson's Market was born. In 2008, the business was taken over by Robert and Mary's daughter Janet and her husband Mark Shipley. The original service station was replaced by a larger building that also incorporated Simpson's Market.
Specialties
In addition to gasoline, Simpson's Market is a full service grocery store with fresh meat and produce. Although small, we stock everything required to prepare any meal. We also carry sandwiches and salads made fresh at our sister business Desertview Deli.
