History
Horseback riding has always been a part of the historical Saguaro Lake Ranch all the way back to 1930 when Stewart Mountain Dam was built. The ranch started out as a Dude Ranch catering to people wanting to experience the lifestyle of the true West. Now anybody who thinks of Arizona thinks about the warm weather and sunshine. In the Winter when visitors migrate to Arizona, we wanted to find something that would show them what we have in Arizona! People are amazed at the beauty of the Desert seen by Horseback while riding through the Sonoran Desert. A beautiful Corral was built as a movie set at the Stables, and has the Bulldog Cliffs in the background...a beautiful spot for a family photo. Come and relish in the beauty of the Guest Ranch and Stables. This is a beautiful family vacation spot, as well as romantic getaway location. We are proud to say the horseback riding always draws return visitors.
