Precision Die & Stamping provides tooling and stamping for a variety of original equipment manufacturers in the automotive, semiconductor, lockset hardware, power tool, lawn and garden equipment and aerospace industries. Of its 31 mechanical presses, Precision operates 21 automatic straightside models for progressive stamping with the rest being OBS presses. Most presses are Bruderer and Minster makes, from 30 to 300 tons. The pressroom also has an 8-ft., 300-ton Stamtec, its largest press, and a 300-ton, 7-ft. Minster. These presses allow the company to run large progressive dies on sheet to 18-in. thick. Precision Die and Stamping was founded in 1964 as a small family-owned tool builder. The company is headquartered in Tempe, Ariz.
