Community Foundation for Southern Arizona
The Women's Foundation for the State of Arizona (WFSA) is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to achieving equity for women and girls of all identities in Arizona. Through their integrated framework of research, advocacy, grantmaking, and innovative programmatic solutions, WFSA works to create social, political, and economic change. They conduct nonpartisan research to identify economic barriers and opportunities for women and girls, advocate for policy change to remove systemic barriers, invest in organizations supporting women and girls through unrestricted and renewable grants, and innovate with programs like the Unidas Teen Philanthropy Program and Pathways for Single Moms. With over 30 years of experience serving Southern Arizona, WFSA has expanded its work to serve the entire state. They have granted over $1.6 million dollars to organizations, program participants, and individuals across Arizona, and their Pathways for Single Moms program is now statewide, providing economic mobility opportunities and a two-generation approach to interrupting the cycle of poverty for 200 moms. Through their efforts, WFSA is changing lives and striving for gender equity in Arizona.Generated from the website
