Shortly after completing law school, Gould accepted several high-level state government appointments, one in which he led 56 office locations and more than 2, 000 employees. Later, Gould founded his own law practice, which grew to specialize in entertainment law. In 1995, Gould became President and Chief Operating Officer of InAmerica Corporation where he led the acquisition of two subsidiary companies. In 1997 Gould left the company to purchase one of its subsidiaries and within a year he dramatically increased its revenues to sell it to another buyer.
