Mountain Ridge High School
Mountain Ridge High School, established in 1995, is a public school offering educational instruction to students from grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 2,500 students and offers classes in arts, business, science, social studies, language arts, technical education, family and consumer science, world language, math and physical education. It has athletic teams for several sports, including cross country, football, swimming, diving, golf, basketball, wrestling, soccer, baseball, tennis, volleyball, and track and field. The school s mascot is the Mountain Lion and colors are forest green and burgundy. It offers various extracurricular activities and clubs, such as National Honor Society, Society of Distinguished Readers, newspaper, dance team, band, choir, yearbook, and chess and racquetball clubs. Mountain Ridge High School is a part of the Deer Valley Unified District and is located in Glendale, Ariz.
