Vista Transit provides bus transportation to the general public with special attention to the needs of the disabled and senior citizens of the community. Services are available daily with bus stops located throughout Sierra Vista and Fort Huachuca, Ariz. Funding for this service is provided by the city of Sierra Vista, the Arizona Department of Transportation and the Southeastern Arizona Governments Organization. Curbside pick-up services are available with 24-hour advance notice for customers who are over the age of 60, developmentally disabled or physically impaired. The Arizona Transit Administration recognized Vista Transit as an Outstanding 5311 Section Provider for 2003.
