HistoryIn March of 2016, AJ was approached by a local company who needed demo shooters for a CBS news segment on new military/law enforcement training targets and he took the opportunity to have some fun. However, it blossomed into much more. After seeing the news segment, his friends (civilian, veteran, and law enforcement) pushed him to pursue what he loves: firearms and instructing. They knew he had been instructing friends and family for quite some time with much success, but encouraged AJ to do something more with his knowledge and experience. Thus began Center Mass Defense LLC.SpecialtiesOne philosophy that separates Center Mass Defense from other shooting schools is that we recognize that every student is different. We will never tell you that there is only one way to perfect your technique because YOU are your best teacher. Only YOU know what is most comfortable for you and what feels right. So Center Mass Defense concentrates on guiding instead of drilling and molding training to you, not the other way around.
