The Arizona Game & Fish Department, also known as AZGFD, is responsible for the management and conservation of wildlife in the state. The department is operated by the government of the state of Arizona, which works for the welfare of the general public. It provides a range of opportunities for fishing and outdoor recreational activities. The department administers heritage fund and educational programs. The Arizona Game & Fish Department also operates boater, trapper, archery, environmental and bowhunting education programs.
