Dr. Melissa Ferrell, DNP FNP-BC and Dr. J Carvel Jackson, DO partnered in 2016 and began prescribing sublingual drops at the Family Allergy Clinic. Sublingual immunotherapy is an effective, convenient, and safer alternative to shots. Dr. Melissa Ferrell was trained by Dr. Stuart Agren at the Family Allergy Clinic and has extensive education and training in sublingual immunotherapy and asthma management.
Specialties
We offer a no-pain, no-hassle alternative to allergy shots with sublingual (under-the-tongue) allergy drops that can be taken at home. The drops are effective for pollen and food allergies. They are safer than shots and can treat a wide range of symptoms, including congested or runny nose, sneezing, asthma, chronic cough or recurrent bronchitis, sinus and ear infections, itchy eyes, hay fever, hives, eczema, and oral allergy syndrome.
