History
Back in 1991, a teenage boy took the trip of his lifetime - sailing in a tall ship race from Newcastle, England to Bergen, Norway aboard a Norwegian training vessel, the Statsraad Lehmkuhl. Not having the pallet for sardines for breakfast, he was delighted to have been served fresh yogurt topped with natural homemade jam - the ideal sustenance for the rigors of sailing the North Sea. That's where his passion for delicious artisan yogurt began. After the race he returned home and couldn't stop talking about his new found craving. He quickly bought a small yogurt pasteurizer and the genesis of turning his passion into a reality evolved. And now, you're invited to experience his delectable creations at Culture Clash, Arizona's first Greek Yogurt scoop shop and cafe. We guarantee, you're in for a culinary experience of a lifetime.
Specialties
There a new one-of-a-kind cafe in Arizona called Culture Clash Greek Yogurt. This family-run business makes plain and fruit-flavored yogurts -- passion fruit, blackberry, and s'mores. There's even one topped with muesli. But I'd urge you toward the more decadent options, best of which is the Brazilian Lemon: incredibly thick yogurt blanketed with homemade lemon curd and topped with crunchy oatmeal cookie bits. If this counts as healthy eating, I'm in.
