Bullhead City Public Works is a local government division that provides maintenance, construction and public infrastructure facilities and services for the City of Bullhead City, Ariz. Its primary responsibility is the protection and maintenance of all city facilities, streets, roads, drainage networks, wastewater facilities, as well as city-owned vehicles and buildings. It also operates the Bullhead Area Transit System, which began in December, 2000. Bullhead City is located along the eastern banks of the Colorado River in northwestern Arizona. The city is located 90 miles southeast of Las Vegas. Bullhead City was incorporated in 1984 and has a population of more than 33,000 residents.
