Founded in 1961, Booth-Fickett Math/Science Magnet School is a learning facility that provides a range of educational services for more than 1,300 students in kindergarten through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes math, science and computer technology. The school operates a student council, library and computer laboratory. Booth-Fickett Math/Science Magnet School has elementary and middle school campuses that include Booth Elementary School and Fickett Middle School. It also maintains a parent-teacher association. The school operates science and technology departments. Booth-Fickett Math/Science Magnet School operates yearbook, cheerleading and Science Olympiad clubs. In addition, it organizes various extracurricular activities, including dance, chorus and orchestra. Booth-Fickett Math/Science Magnet School is a part of the Tucson Unified School District.
