Arizona Call-A-Teen Youth Resources is a non-profit corporation that was incorporated in 1976. ACYR provides learning-rich education, training and employment for in-and out-of-school youth and young adults, 14-to 21-years of age. ACYR conducts the Workforce Investment Act training programs for the City of Phoenix and Maricopa county that include work readiness skills, vocational and occupational skills training, educational skills, job development and referral, summer youth employment, follow-up, support services and collaborative partnerships. The corporation also provides consulting services, the Youthbuild Phoenix education and construction trades program, adult education and various employer services. The ACYR Center of Excellence Charter High School provides academic instruction and work-related educations to students of grades nine to12. ACYR's also provides the ABE/GED program for youth or adults lacking the level of literacy skills required for productive employment. ACYR is headquartered in Phoenix.
