HistoryLandscape Cacti was established in 1974 by Jon Weeks, Ph.D. After completing his masters and doctorate at the University of Arizona, Dr. Weeks started Landscape Cacti after developing a passion for desert plants particularly from the Sonoran Desert. This has evolved into an established nursery and name within the community of cacti and succulent growers in Southern Arizona. Since starting the business, Dr. Weeks has expanded his scope to include seed sales (wholesale only).SpecialtiesLandscape Cacti is a local, family owned business that has been part of the Tucson landscape since 1974. Our plants are grown in Tucson, Arizona, either in shade houses or outside, fully exposed to the weather. Most of our plants are grown from seed by us. We specialize in hardy landscape plants. We also grow a selection of cacti and other succulents not intended for landscape use. All plants are horticulturally produced.
