Founded in 1987, The Parent Institute for Quality Education, also known as PIQE, provides the information and tools related to children s education for low-income parents. The institute conducts classes in more than 15 languages. Its training classes have served over 375,000 parents. The Parent Institute for Quality Education provides training classes for parents in more than 1,500 elementary, middle and high schools in California. Its service areas include San Diego, Los Angeles, Fresno, San Jose, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Monterey, Sacramento, Stanislaus, Alameda, San Francisco and Shasta counties in California. The institute also provides one-on-one information to parents. The Parent Institute for Quality Education maintains a location in San Diego.
