History
Southeast Aviation was started in May, 2001 and has been located at 1249 Tongass Avenue since it's inception. Original partners were James Kosmos, Jerry Scudero & Ernie Robb. It is currently owned by Jim Kosmos. Our fleet is two DeHavilland Beaver aircraft. Our primary business is flight seeing to the Misty Fjords National Monument during the summer season (May through September), bear viewing & on-demand charter service to Forest Service cabins, fishing lodges & surrounding areas. We provide floatplane service to Prince of Wales Island, Metlakatla, Wrangell, Prince Rupert, B.C. Canada and other destinations in southern southeast Alaska.
Specialties
We specialize in Misty Fjords flight seeing, bear viewing tours & on-demand air charters. We fly customers to Anan Creek Bear Observatory & Traitors Cove/Margaret Creek bear observatory during the summer season. We operate DeHavilland Beaver aircraft out of Ketchikan, Alaska & have been in business since 2001.
