Pioneer Memorial Park, Inc. operates the Fairbanks Pioneer Museum, Big Stampede Show and displays of artifacts at Pioneer Park. PMP’s mission is to collect and preserve historic objects, documents and images of early interior Alaska. For over 50 years PMP’s museum has served the Fairbanks community and schools, and thousands of traveling visitors annually. PMP maintains a public digital archive of collections, documents, and photographs. PMP’s trustees represent the Fairbanks Igloos of the Pioneers of Alaska and the Tanana Yukon Historical Society. The museum does not charge for entry but makes requests for donations from visitors. The museum also contains a small gift shop. The Big Stampede Show of Rusty Huerlin paintings, narrated by Reuben Gaines, has a small admission fee.
