Established by Assembly Ordinance 84-10(S) in 1984, Anchorage Parking primary purpose is to centralize the responsibility for financing, developing and operating on-street public parking. The organization, located in Anchorage, Alaska, primarily focuses on providing on- and off-street parking spaces. It manages more than 5,800 parking spaces in three garages, six surface lots, along the park strip and on street. Anchorage Parking provides short- and long-term parking within the downtown area.
