Established in 1917, Petersburg Medical Center is a health care service center comprising of a clinic, medical surgical floor, emergency, long-term care, laboratory, radiology, physical therapy, home health, dietary, community education and business office. Located in Petersburg, Ark., it is a critical access hospital with acute care services, including inpatient hospitalization, nursing/rehabilitation program, non stress tests and ambulatory surgery with visiting orthopedic surgeon. The center's hospital-based outpatient clinic provides complete range of family health care. The radiology department services include CAT scans, bone density, diagnostic X-ray, mammography, general ultrasound, obstetrical ultrasound and many more. Petersburg Medical Center's physical therapy department provides services to patients with orthopedic, neurological, medical or development disabilities.
