Alaskans for Palmer Hay Flats is a blend of Alaskan outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy fishing, hunting, bird watching, picnicking, photography, snowmobiling, skiing, skating, dog sledding and more. It is an organization dedicated to the preservation of the Palmer Hay Flats State Game Refuge through conservation, public awareness and enhancement projects. The game refuge comprises 45 square miles of wetlands, forest, lakes and tidal sloughs with ducks, geese, sandhill cranes, moose, muskrats, salmon and a variety of birds, mammals and fishes.
