Founded in 1974, Akeela is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of services for prevention and treatment of substance and alcohol abuse. Its rehabilitation programs are licensed by the Alaska Division of Behavioral Health and approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitative Facilities.
