Hinkle Metals and Supply is a retail seller and wholesale distributor of heating and air conditioning supplies and equipment, fiberglass insulation, roofing and metals, such as copper, aluminum and galvanized steel. Hinkle Metals has the capacity to provide material for residential, commercial and industrial projects. Based in Birmingham, Ala., Hinkle Metals was founded in 1927. Hinkle Metals sold its metal processing business in June 1999. The company distributes its products throughout the southeastern United States and operates six plants in Alabama at Huntsville, Sheffield, Tuscaloosa, Montgomery, Mobile and Birmingham. Hinkle Metals serves its other customers from facilities in Gulfport, Miss., Columbus, Ga. and Pensacola, Fla.
