While living here for our first 2 years I kept driving through downtown Calera and always saw empty buildings. I had dreams about owning a store for a very long time. Now, as an adult who isn't moving every 3 years I thought it may be possible. My oldest daughter has been in pageants and I've always been the pageant mom. I thought Calera needed a pageant shop for all these girls. One day my husband stopped to check out one of the buildings. He has always been one of my biggest supporters. Well, the rest is history.
