River City Karate is a martial arts instruction center offering workouts which are a combination of cardio, strength-building and skills instruction. Located at Decatur, Ala., the center holds Beginners (White-Orange belt), Intermediate (Orange-Purple belt) and Advanced (Black belt) classes for children and adults. It also organizes belt testing every week. River City Karate is managed by Sensei Chase Russell who has titles, such as Alabama State Champion (1993-1997); Alabama State Champion (2001-2004); International Karate Circuit Champion (2003); and Regional Sport Karate Circuit Champion (2004).
