North Baldwin Utilities, also known as NBU, is a municipally owned water, wastewater and natural gas utility. It serves the residents of North Baldwin County in Alabama. The utility also works to protect water supply by maintaining existing water systems and drilling new wells. Established in 1945, North Baldwin Utilities sewer system consists of more than 260,000 feet of sewer lines. In addition, it offers incentives for residents who add natural gas appliances to their new and existing homes. The utility provides residential grease recycling program. North Baldwin Utilities also operates a wastewater treatment facility and maintenance shop. It is organized by the City of Bay Minette in Alabama.
