Established in 1985, the National Children's Advocacy Center is a nonprofit organization that provides training, prevention, intervention and treatment services to fight child abuse and neglect. The center, also known as NCAC, has trained more than 54,000 child abuse professionals from the U.S. states and over 20 other countries. It has more than 600 established and developing facilities throughout the United States. The National Children's Advocacy Center offers children's advocacy center, Forensic Evaluation and Forensic Interviewing model programs. It additionally offers clinical services and family advocate programs. The center is a member of the National Children's Alliance, United Way of Madison County, American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. It has received the Madison County Family Friendly Business Award. The National Children's Advocacy Center is located in Huntsville, Ala.
