Vulcan Materials Company provides infrastructure materials and is one of the United States largest producers of construction aggregates and other construction materials. Donald M. James has been the chief executive officer of Vulcan Materials for more than nine years. He has been with the rubber goods company for over 14 years. James earned a BS degree from the University of Alabama, and a JD from the University of Virginia. The company is headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., and has support operations throughout the U.S.
