Decatur Parks and Recreation is a department of the local municipal government that provides access to a variety of recreational facilities and activities. They operate three recreation community centers, an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool, 28 parks with 19 developed playgrounds, 44 lighted tennis courts, walking trails, a splash pad, and numerous lighted and unlighted softball and baseball fields.
