HomTex caters to the hospitality, retail and home furnishing industries. The company, founded in 1988 as a contract sewing company, is centrally located in Alabama and positioned to service both metropolitan and small town markets. HomTex manufacturing facility consists of more than 99,000 square feet. The plant's main focal point is the state-of-the-art automated sheet sewing equipment, Eton Unit Production System that originated in Sweden. With the growth and popularity of luxury mattresses, the need for a better fitting linen line became apparent. With this in mind, HomTex developed DreamFit, engineered and fabricated to satisfy consumers. This product is significant enough that a patent was granted for its extraordinary fitted sheet. HomTex has an ongoing basis of obtaining the best materials that meets and exceeds the industry standards for the consumers demand for quality. Currently, HomTex is developing enhanced thread counts.
