G. W. Carver High School is a learning institute that serves more than 1,200 students in grades 9 through 12. It offers classes in English, social studies, calculus, geometry, engineering, biology, physical science, forensics, genetics, microbiology, and health and physical education, as well as French and Spanish. The school additionally provides instructive sessions in business marketing, cooperative studies, cosmetology, computer-aided design, graphic arts, animation, and radio and television broadcasting. It offers opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports activities, including volleyball, football, basketball, and track and field. The school features over 10 science and computer laboratories. G. W. Carver High School also operates a media center that houses nearly 70 workstations, as well as a conference room, teacher production facility and study area.
