Along with clothing and typical thrift store finds, we also sell new furniture, and mattresses. All proceeds go to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of the homeless and hungry in Huntsville and the North Alabama area.
History
The Downtown Rescue Mission, located in Huntsville, Alabama, offers different services to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the homeless and hungry in our community. Men, women, and children can find a warm meal and a safe place to stay at our campus. When you donate or shop at one of our seven thrift stores, you are helping meet the spiritual and physical needs of the homeless in Huntsville and across North Alabama. All proceeds from the stores go directly back to the mission to provide food, clothing, shelter and Christian education to the poor and needy in our area. Our stores are located in Albertville, Athens, Decatur, Madison, Meridianville, West and East Huntsville.
