The Dothan Fire Department offers fire suppression, rescue and emergency medical services. It conducts a variety of loss reduction activities, such as inspections, plan reviews and fire investigations. It conducts fire safety inspections of commercial buildings and regular night inspections of nightclubs and restaurants. The department also offers fire education classes for citizens, businesses, schools and civic groups. The Dothan Fire Department additionally provides fire extinguisher training.
