Dogs On Call is a pet therapy program based in Montgomery, AL, that consists of over 50 dedicated volunteer teams who provide comfort and companionship to those in need. These teams visit a variety of facilities, including nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, schools, and facilities for individuals with disabilities, spreading compassion and kindness through the power of their pets. Founded in 2008 by Frances McGowin, Dogs On Call is now operated by an advisory board and offers two training classes per year to certify their teams.
