After three years with a new business name, Patriot Tire moved to a Texaco service station in Altoona. A year later, Patriot Tire moved back to Walnut Grove. In May of 2007, owner Ben Waller purchased the current shop location. This location has had a business there for over 100 years. The previous owner built cabinets in those two buildings for over 45 years. Since moving to this location, Patriot Tire has built on their past reputation and experience. As cars and tires have changed, Patriot Tire has kept pace, and offers today's products and services with the historic service nostalgic to the small town of Walnut Grove and the business owners who worked on that corner in the past.
